Our site christmas lunch and department christmas lunch were both yesterday! Most of us in the department just showed up at the site event long enough to get the free holiday giveaway and then went to the department lunch.
After all, mass-prepared food served on folding tables in the back parking lot of the building can't hold a candle to a luncheon at Dave & Buster's. :)

Our department had the location booked a year ago. Unfortunately, the site did not check with us when they scheduled the on-site celebration.

Yes, our department is maybe fifty people, at a site of several hundred.
